For walls, tongue and groove joints are preferred (easy to install and good sealing); for roofs, concealed fasteners/interlocking joints are preferred (superior wind resistance and waterproofing); for roofs with lower requirements, overlapping joints can be selected.

2.How should the thickness and density of PIR sandwich panel core material be selected according to the specific application scenario?

For industrial plants, choose 50/75mm (density 40kg/m³); for cold chain storage, choose 100mm for -10℃, 150mm for -20℃, and 200~250mm (density 45~50kg/m³) for -30℃; for fireproof partitions in public buildings, choose 75/100mm. The higher the density, the stronger the structural strength and wind resistance of the board, making it suitable for large-span roofs and areas with high winds.

3.What custom adjustments are needed when using PIR sandwich panels in high-altitude, windy areas?

The core material density is increased to 50~60kg/m³, the surface layer is thickened to 0.6~0.8mm and reinforced with ribs; the splicing method is selected as concealed snap-fit/interlocking (to improve wind resistance); the fasteners are selected as extended models and the fixing spacing is increased, and the ends of the boards are sealed with polyurethane foam.
