In the renovation of food processing plants, balancing the durability of walls with the impact resistance of floors is a common challenge. In the upgrade project of a large food processing plant in Foshan, we innovatively adopted a composite process of “stainless steel magnesium oxide cleanroom panels” and “cement low walls + tiles” to create a high-standard production space that is both beautiful and practical for the owner.
Partition wall and ceiling system: Stainless steel magnesium oxide cleanroom panels, setting a new standard for cleanliness.
The factory’s partition walls and ceiling systems are entirely constructed using top-grade stainless steel magnesium oxide cleanroom panels. This choice is based on the stringent environmental requirements of food factories.
- Super Corrosion Resistant: Food-grade stainless steel panels easily withstand acid and alkali corrosion and moisture erosion caused by cleaning and disinfection, with a service life far exceeding that of ordinary color steel panels.
- Sterile and Easy to Clean: Smooth and dense surface with seamless splicing leaves no hiding place for bacteria and mold, supporting high-frequency, high-standard cleaning operations.
- Fireproof and Stable: The core magnesium oxide material meets Class A non-combustible standards, and the overall strength of the panels is high, with a stable structure, providing the highest level of safety and reliability for the workshop.

Ground and wall base treatment: 30cm low wall construction to solve cleaning pain points
Addressing the industry pain point that traditional panel walls are easily damaged by bumps and water accumulation, this project demonstrates ingenuity in its ground treatment—first building a 30-centimeter-high cement wall at the bottom of the ground, and then laying marble tiles on it.
- Ultimate Impact Resistance: The robust cement base and wear-resistant tiles can fully withstand accidental impacts from forklifts, shelving, and other equipment, solving the problem of vulnerability of metal panels in this area.
- Perfect Moisture and Water Resistance: This structure fundamentally eliminates the risk of ground moisture and water seeping into the upper wall panels, protecting the core wall structure.
- Seamless Transition and Easy Cleaning: The tiled walls and floors form a unified cleaning surface, eliminating hard-to-clean corners and making daily washing and maintenance more thorough and efficient.

Summary of the advantages of the solution:
This solution cleverly achieves a balance between strength and flexibility:
Upper section (partition wall/ceiling): Utilizes stainless steel magnesium oxide cleanroom panels, fulfilling the core functions of cleanliness, corrosion resistance, and fire resistance.
Lower section (wall base): Employs a traditional low cement wall combined with ceramic tiles, addressing practical challenges related to impact resistance and moisture prevention.
This combination leverages the performance advantages of high-end panels while compensating for their weaknesses through civil engineering processes, achieving a synergistic effect greater than the sum of its parts. It demonstrates SAMZOON sandwich panels’ professional solution capabilities, which focus on addressing customers’ practical problems.
